How do I start my own vehicle alarm/gps tracking business?
At the suggestion of family, friends, and customers, I decided that I would like to start my own vehicle security/convenience/gps tracking company.
I already know where I can get product from, I have a great pool of potential clients and a good reputation, I know how to run the business, but I am fairly naive to the initial processes of starting a business.
I need to know exactly what type of licenses/permits/paperwork I need (e.g. business license, tax ID, etc.) and where exactly I can get them from. I have tried reading existing literature on the topic, but I need a more simplified explanation that leaves out business plans, legal structuring, and all the other suggestions that a "how to start a business" book/website details.

You need to contact SCORE , it is a free service of retired people that were in business & they will explain everything on where to go & what type of permits are needed.Just type the word on your search bar. Best of luck on your new adventure.
