Whomever installed your tracking system is tapping into the main electronics, grounding out the circuit boards. Tracking systems should not be connected to the vehicle electronics. They should be stand-alone and their power source should be isolated. Take them back to the installer and have them re-wired. The vehicle’s on-board computer is by default protected, and the protection was over-ridden by the installer.

Ronnie Being a diesel mechanic for ove 20 years and dealing alot with sattelite tracking, you need to be more vague as to what type of breakdown you are expierencing as far as your chips are concerned some vehicles now have special circuitboards that an ordinary test light can not be used while diagnosing electrical problems you have to have a positive ground test light if not you could blow diodes in the circuit board
