Hi, I was wondering if there is a way that I can keep track of my car from my computer using a tracking device (trasmitter)? What is the circuit that I can use to build it? Or is there a easier way to get a hand on this device? Ive always wanted to do this!! Where I live the GPS system is not available since Im not living in the US for now.
Im thinking something like: the more the cars trasmitter gets away from the receiver, the receiver itself (maybe a IC counter or PIC or something like that) counts (measures) the signal strength or frecuency and counts each (strength) distance in meters of feet! I DONT KNOW!!

I have a car and a truck and since I can’t get on-star. I was wondering whats a good device to place on my cars in case they are stolen and I want to lead the police straight to it. I googled this but there are so many out there I don’t know which one will work best for me.
In other words, will one car’s use of an antitracking device block tracking of all cars in the scope of the antitracking device’s area or just block tracking the specific car with the device installed?
