What would you do if you found out your spouse had put a GPS device in your vehicle?
I know someone (honestly, NOT me!) who has a spouse that cheated. This person bought a GPS device meant to keep track of pets, disguised it as a child’s toy, and stuck it under the seat of the spouse’s car. There’s a website that shows where the device is at any given time, and this person uses it to keep track of the spouse.
Would you ever do something like this? How would you react if you found out your spouse had tracked you in this way?

The cheaters life should be an open book anyway and they should be completely transparent about where they are at all times to gain back the trust they lost. If the GPS data is used as a back up to confirm that they have been where they said they were, then it could be a healthy tool. But if the one who was cheated on intends to try to use it forever to spy on their spouse, then they are better off divorcing because they will never move on.

my ex g/f did some thing like this.
when i found out i was pissed. i told her that if she didn’t trust me enough that she had to do this then we shouldn’t be together.

if i was the one that cheated i can understand it, i would be mad but would understand. i would also use it to my advantage. if she seen me go the same places then she knows i’m not cheating anymore and should remove it, making the trust between the both of us stronger.

Can’t say I blame them. If the person cheated, how is the other spouse supposed to trust ? They are probably very hurt by the unfaithfulness. And are thinking about leaving if they cheat again.
Some people are more severe than others. I wouldn’t tolerate any cheating from my spouse. I wouldn’t go as far as putting a GPS in the car. I would just tell her this is it. You are going away.
I won’t be made a fool of.

first I would look for stuffed toys in the car, shred them open. then I would order a GPS blocker online. and use it everytime i went somewhere. Too bad for the jealous spouse.

I wasn’t cheating I would be offended, but if in the other case I was cheating I would be worried..

I guess they wouldn’t react well when they got busted.
depends on the situation really. If it’s a jealous control freak tracking then she/he would need to get rid of hi/her anyway.
If a person has legitimate concerns and is being lied to enough to drive them to it,then yeah..sometimes you may need to prove the truth.

When I thought of it, I’d say, "Thanks for the ability to find me quickly in case my cell phone dies or I’m out of service tower range."
